HOMMV nice! How is it? I liked the first 3, but thought 4 was a bit unpolished and too much of the kitchen sink approach.
@fattychubs
I have HOMMV and I find it pretty decent. The graphics were done a lot better than 4. I still consider 3 to be the best though.
yeah i have been enjoying it thus far as well, i haven't played it that much really though. I didnt even play 4, many friends gave me the same report that you just did, and that was during my PC gaming hiatus anyway. Not playing 4, I am not sure what I missed (or perhaps dodged the bullet on) but 5 give me a very strong feeling of 3, at least in the small amount I have got to dive in so far.

Steam had a deal over the weekend it was like $12 for the full game, and 2 expansions or something like that - I forget the exact price, but it was like 50% off and a bit hard to pass up.
I wish I would have gotten that deal =) Totally missed it, need to visit gamerdna more =)
Maybe its a good thing I didn't get this, I am really behind on my PC games that I already own =)
@fattychubs
Yeah, I know that feeling of being behind. But, right now on Steam all Meridian4 games are 50% off making a pack of 12 games + 2 expansions for $25. Deal!
@mattwinnie How can I say no to that? Argh!
